As fixative in fragrance/perfumes such as in aggarbatti.
Used in manufacturing of celluloid.
As solvent in nitrocellulose and cellulose acetate in varnishes/lacquers.
Used as plasticizer in solid Rocket fuel propellant and cellulose ester plastics, such as photographic films and sheets, blister packaging and tape applications.
As solvent in formulations of organic peroxide.
As dye carrier in colour base pigment industry.
As a camphor substitute.
